At one heated point in Monday night’s Democratic debate, a perturbed Barack Obama finally blurted out to Hillary Clinton what millions of others have been thinking these past weeks. After Clinton said that what her husband says might be different than what she says or what her campaign says, Obama disgustedly said “I can’t tell who I’m running against sometimes.”

I just came back in from a great outing with the ladies. It was put together somewhat last minute (our early riser friend sent out a text at 6:45 this morning) and we all ended up meeting at my place after work and heading downtown to Marvin for dinner. Everyone piled in my car since it’s the newest (at least that is their excuse not to drive). We jammed to the music along the way, got in some laughs and were happy that we actually got on U Street and found a parking spot within a block of where we were going. Then we proceeded to have two hours of great food and convo. That was really what the doctor ordered.
Sometimes when you have a lot on your mind and you need a break friends are truly the best pick me up.
So much going on in my head. It’s a new year and time for changes and new beginnings. Some of the things happening in my life a few years ago I’d really have been excited and happy about but now it’s just kind of blah and I’m not so excited about. Major issue is four guys vying for my attention. And the really bad part is none of them can happen. (more…)

I lied. I said I had a man. I should have been more truthful. But I feel like that lie was so much easier then me saying I’m just not interested in you. Especially when this guy has asked me out before and I told him no thanks then.
