I just came back in from a great outing with the ladies. It was put together somewhat last minute (our early riser friend sent out a text at 6:45 this morning) and we all ended up meeting at my place after work and heading downtown to Marvin for dinner. Everyone piled in my car since it’s the newest (at least that is their excuse not to drive). We jammed to the music along the way, got in some laughs and were happy that we actually got on U Street and found a parking spot within a block of where we were going. Then we proceeded to have two hours of great food and convo. That was really what the doctor ordered.
Sometimes when you have a lot on your mind and you need a break friends are truly the best pick me up.
I hear ya! I don’t care how many girls claim they don’t like to hang around or get along with other “females”. It’s crap. At the end of the day, a girl always wants at least one other girl she can call a friend.
